The transition into menopause, called perimenopause can last between 5-10 years and the range of symptoms that women experience can be distressing, disruptive and disorienting. These symptoms traverse personal and professional life and can include changes to sleep, memory, concentration and emotions.
The “Menopause and Work in Canada” report published by the Menopause Foundation of Canada found that the unmanaged symptoms of menopause cost the economy $3.5 billion per year, and cost women themselves via lost income due to a reduction in hours and/or pay, or by leaving the workforce altogether. Sixty-two percent of female executives say they experience symptoms, but are not adequately supported in their experiences. ThriveSpace is here to change that.
Using validated, evidence-based tools, we help women to recognize and respond to the naturally-occurring changes to their bodies to help them to remain engaged and harness their hard-earned knowledge and talents through this important arc of their careers.
